MENJELANG 18 TAHUN KERJAYA PENGACARA AZNIL NAWAWI

Pengacara nombor satu, Aznil Haji Nawawi berpendapat etika penting dalam dunia pengacaraan
ialah etika perniagaan. Gaya, imej penampilan, disiplin dan keyakinan merupakan perkara yang
harus dimiliki oleh seseorang pengacara. Aznil merupakan bekas pengacara program realiti TV
popular, Akademi Fantasia selama 5 musim dan kini lebih terkenal dengan program kanak-kanak,
Tom Tom Bak..

Dia juga pernah memenangi anugerah Rancangan Bual Bicara Terbaik Asia menerusi program
Macam-macam Aznil pada tahun 2005. Sebelum itu Aznil telah tersenarai sebagai antara lima
pengacara terbaik Asia pada tahun 2004 dalam Asia TV Awards. Baginya, pengacaraan merupakan
satu produk populariti semasa dan tidak akan kekal seperti lakonan dan nyanyian dimana filem
atau lagu boleh dimainkan oleh generasi akan datang.

Aznil mula mencuri tumpuan apabila mengacara program berbentuk games show iaitu, Pop Kuiz
terbitan TV3. Namun, selepas itu dia terus terlibat dalam pelbagai program lain termasuk
rancangan Melodi. Aznil kini lebih senang dengan mengacara program kanak-kanak. Dia turut
menjelaskan bahawa dia tidak gemar menjadi pengacara laser namun sesekali terpaksa mengikut
konsep sesuatu program. Malah, Aznil lebih suka menjadi pengacara mesra dan disayangi.

Walaupun pernah diiktiraf sebagai pengacara terbaik, Aznil masih berpegang kepada prinsip
merendah diri dan menjaga nama baiknya. Dia mengakui bahawa beliau menapis perlakuan dan
perbualan didepan kamera, malah turut melakukannya diluar walaupun kelihatan gila-gila dan
happy. Tambahnya, seorang pengacara berjaya perlu jaga peradapan dan memahami ruang lingkup
kerjanya kerana melibatkan orang ramai, tenaga produksi dan penonton secara langsung.
